How booking a sitter works

2. Request a bookingYour card is held, not charged, while the provider reviews your request.
3. Provider acceptsOnce accepted, the payment is taken and the booking is confirmed. Contact details unlock in chat.
4. Enjoy the serviceLeave a review afterwards so the next pawrent knows what to expect.

Fees and payments

• It is free to join BarkPark.
• When you book a provider, your card is held, not charged, until the provider accepts.
• The owner pays a service fee of about 10% on top of the booking price (about 5% on repeat bookings with the same provider).
• Providers keep about 95% of the booking price (about 97% on repeat bookings).
• Payouts to providers are made through Stripe about 3 days after acceptance.
• Phone numbers, email addresses and links are hidden in chat until a booking is confirmed.
